AG at Little Miss Muffet!

Swings N Slides Snow Buds... I wish I'd found some more of those ornament snowflakes on clearance when I went to Wal-mart yesterday. The little movement they add to cards is perfect!

It's time for the last challenge of the year at Little Miss Muffet Challenges! We're making it easy - Anything Goes! I am a huge fan of an Anything Goes challenge, especially at this busy time of year. I'm actually about to go shower and get on the road. Lord willing, I'll be back on Saturday so you won't get much time to miss me.  :D  The challenge runs until Jan 8, and I hope to see your name on the Inlinkz list!

Also, if you haven't checked out the Winter Sale, it's still going until December 31! The Hatters, some Sugar N Spice Dolls, a couple of Pollycraft cuties, and some dies can be yours for 30% off!!

**Challenges: Simon Says Stamp - Anything Goes, The Paper Shelter - Anything Goes, Divas by Design - Anything Goes

A Little Mini for My Dad's 60th

OMG! I just remembered that my father is supposed to be coming over to get this mini album today after work. I stayed late at work today and just got home. I haven't finished putting the pictures in!!! I have to see if he calls me; if not, I'll just call him once I'm sure he's home and remind him that he forgot to come over... :S  Had I not decided to share this video, I wouldn't have remembered at all. OOPS!

Snow Challenge at Guylou's Inimitability

Seriously? My tech is so not working with me today. My phone claimed that I'd posted a post, then it never showed up. Once I found it, all the text was gone! BOO!!!! Oh, and would you believe that just now a message popped up to tell me an error code to enter into the Blogger Support Group. And another one! We'll see if this post actually makes it online this morning...

But yeah, I just realized earlier that I hadn't posted about the new challenge at Guylou's Inimitability. I had my card finished in time to enjoy Thursday's shows (Last Resort, Grey's, Scandal!), but completely forgot about the post. You know what? That **ing error thing keeps giving me error codes. I'm just going to hit Publish to see what happens...

Okay, it wouldn't work so I copied everything I'd already typed, opened Chrome, and pasted into a new blog post. Problem solved! Very strange...

Anyway, I used part of an image, Roger and Chuck Get a Christmas Tree, for this card. Being able to alter is one thing I love about digital stamps. Sometimes I just want to color a little or blow something up huge...

Something with snow is easy, so I expect to see YOU in the challenge! You have until 10 pm EST on December 27 to get your project uploaded. You could win some digis and be a GDT in a challenge!

Really??

Do people hack then jack blogs? I have recently seen two blogs that I follow start only talking about garbage that I wouldn't have chosen to follow. One became about stamps (not the rubber, clear, or digi variety) and medals, and just last night a blog in my Reader started displaying only stories about tattoos. When I visited the blogs, there were only these weird new posts. Nothing was there before the nonsense began. Have you all seen this too? And am I just crazy for thinking that a scheme like this would be better suited for a blog with a ton of followers?

Dr. Digi's at The Outlawz!!

Okay! Looks like I might be back in blogging business this week! As I said in one of my few recent posts, the Sketch Challenge at The Outlawz is being sponsored by Dr. Digi's House of Stamps this month. Can I just say that my teammates rocked it again this week?!  For my card, I used Slam Dunk Duncan...
What do you think about "Play on, Playa" for a sentiment inside? :D
*It looks like Dr. Digi has recently updated its freebie image! Go pick it up!

Here is the sketch if you're interested in playing along:

Just so you know, we still have a ton of sponsors for this month, plus we've upped the number of Oozak prizes!!

Sharing!

This card looks so much more awesome than this pic shows! It is pure glitter, embossing, coloring goodness!

Look at this beautiful card I got from Cole Meyer! My cousin was here when it arrived, and she was seriously scheming on how she could steal this one. I'm sweet, so I did offer to slice the front off and attach it to another card. Luckily, she told me I could keep my card which is now sitting in the middle of the mantle.

**Cole, you always make fabulous cards! What kind of paper are you using for card bases? It seems so weighty, and I like-y a lot!

Last oops! at Guylou's

I also forgot my post at Guylou's Inimitability! :s  The challenge is to make a Christmas card using nontraditional Christmas colors. You have a week left! I'm using my phone to post so I'll have to add some good stuff when I can put it all in the right places...

Okay! I used a super cropped version of Bernadette for this card and some American Crafts papers that definitely don't look like Christmas.  I sure hope you join us for the challenge; you have until December 13 to get linked up at the Challenge Blog!

Challenges: Try Stamping on Tuesday - #95 Sketch, Charisma Cardz - Christmas, Aud Sentiments - Anything Goes

Girly Release at LMMS!

I HAVE GOT to get my light box back in business! I've been taking pics everywhere!

So, last week I called myself trying to be early with my Little Miss Muffet Challenge project. The challenge, which is still going, was to make a tag or a gift. Well, I'm so awesome (ha!), I made a tag BUT used an image that wasn't in the shop until today! Yep, that's another "oops" for me this week!  There are some new Sonny Honeycloud, Celeste Amberglow, and Luna Bitterfrost stamps from Pollycraft PLUS an angel and some lovely angel wings and dresses from Barbara at Little Miss Muffet Stamps! Make sure you get a News Badge on your blog to be eligible for your choice of stamps from the next release!

**Challenges: Sassy Studio Design - Celebrations,  Crafty Ribbons - Tags or Labels, The Sisterhood of Crafters - Embossing (background is a lace stamp embossed with white, blue Gelato run over afterward)

Oops, I Did It Again!

Geez, it seems like forever since Britney Spears came out with that song, and... unfortunately, now that I've typed the title, I think I might be singing that song the rest of the night!  But yeah, I ran away and neglected my poor blog again. I had to clean off the table for Thanksgiving then didn't feel like finding/getting stuff back out to make things. Plus, I'm still working on a present for my father whose birthday was over two weeks ago...

I did make a project for yesterday's Sketch Challenge at The Outlawz. I don't really like my card, so I'll just share the sketch:

And tell you that this month the Sketch Challenge is being sponsored by Dr. Digi's House of Stamps! Great images and good people over there! There's a cute FREE genie digi over there right now. Go check it out!

*Here's a card I made for the last issue of Ready Set Create using Night Nurse Nina from Dr. Digi:

Happy LMMS Release Day?!

Ready for another quick post? If not, I apologize! Unexpected family, cleaning and cooking all day, plus sinus nonsense since Friday means I need to be speedy...

Little Miss Muffet Stamps has another super release today! Lots of Pollycraft Christmas images, a little turkey and Christmas tree, another Van Sister, a very regal looking crown, plus something for Hanukkah and Kwanzaa! My card uses Emily, the newest (and my fav for the curls) Van Sister...

Finally used some more of that Webster's Pages box! Sentiment from Stamp Camp. It's sparkly IRL...

Check what the rest of the team has for you and see whether YOU won for having up the LMMS News Badge!  Ooh, I just saw that one of my favorite online shops, Oozak, will be selling LMMS dies and rubber stamps soon!

Happy Thanksgiving!!

A Real Stinker...

So, the new challenge at Little Miss Muffet Challenges is to use textiles (ribbon, twine, fabric) on your project. I got 85% of the way through with my card and decided not to even finish it. It's pretty sucky. I was trying to not color because I have a whole lot going on (mostly prepping for my dad's 60's bday party on Saturday). Huge fail! If I can knock some of the pressing things off of my list, I'm going to go back and try again...

You have two weeks to get your project in for a chance to win some digis. Also, since Barbara is heading out of town, there's a chance for you to get some extras if you'd like to place an order between now and Nov. 26:

1. As Digi orders will be slightly delayed, all digi orders will receive a new, unrevealed, winter-themed digi image.

2. Rubber and Diecut orders will be shipped out on 27th November, and will receive a free sentiment stamp. Choose from Royal Decree or Sugar & Spice Sentiment. Please e-mail Barbara with your choice of free stamp at the time of ordering.

OMGoodness!

UMM...It seems like forever since I touched my blog. I don't know how it happened! It's been 10 days since I last posted, and I haven't been sick or on vacation or anything! Just busy and tired and blah and working and so on... Sorry.

First, those Thanksgiving/Fall Inkadinkado stamps I was giving away ALL that time ago will be heading out to live with BELLDOUBLEYOU!! If you would please send your address to trina.willis at gmail.com, I will get them in the mail to you.

Highland Monkeys, where are you?

I completely missed posting the new release at Little Miss Muffet Stamps.

Two of the Van Family Sisters...

We have some new Thanksgiving stamps and the adorable Van Family! I'm such a dunce, I didn't realize until yesterday that they're the Van family because they look like those little family icons that are on the backs of a gang of vans and SUVs. OOPS! At least that's what I decided their name is for... (Sidenote: If you've been here a while, you know I have some safety issues because of a job I used to have. If you have one of those families on your vehicle, PLEASE do NOT put your last name, kids' names, pets' names on your car. It makes it a lot easier for someone to trick your kids into some nonsense with a name.)

There was also a pretty simple sketch at The Outlawz. You should check that out too. Cards Etc. Shop is sponsoring the Sketch Challenge this month...

Anyway, it's a new week. Hopefully, I'll do better. No promises, though! I'm working to get ready for my father's 60th birthday party this weekend and cleaning up my crafting mess from the dining room before Thanksgiving...

Yankee Doodle at Guylou's Inimitability

As I was thinking about what to make for the new challenge at Guylou's Inimitability, I couldn't stop myself from singing Yankee Doodle! Why? Well, the challenge is for you to put a FEATHER on your project, and my brain thought of Yankee Doodle sticking a feather on his hat... (If I could map how my brain goes everywhere with a simple thought, you'd be amazed at what you saw.)  But wouldn't you know after all that singing, I couldn't find a single blank-ing feather?! I know I have some. My dear pal Theresa sent me some quite a while back. I found everything but those feathers.

SO... I cheated! I used a bird image! :D I figured I should get a pass for making a non-cute spooky card for the last challenge.

Super cropped Serena and the Little Bird digi from Guylou's Inimitability + BasicGrey's Hopscotch papers

If you'd like to play along for a chance at some free digis, you have until 10 pm EST on November 15 to link up your feathered project!

Fireworks at LMMS!

The new challenge at Little Miss Muffet Challenges is Inspired by Fireworks! There are some gorgeous inspiration photos on the blog to get you going...

That cute dude is Dill!
While I do need to take another photo of this card, I can tell you that I used some Dylusions sprays that came in today!! from Blitsy to cover up a piece of glossy cardstock. I was going for the burst of colors you see during a fireworks show. The sentiment area was masked, but I moved the paper in my spray container and it went through... I think I might outline the masked section to make the shape show a bit more.

Head over to the challenge, check out my teammates' creations, then get started on your own! There are free digis to be won... :D

**Challenges: Digi Stamps 4 Joy - Bingo! (No glitter, no ribbon, a person stamp, no apples, and no buttons), The Paper Shelter - Anything Goes

Do You Ever...

want to just post a pic with a link and be done? This morning, I woke up about every 6 - 8 mins starting around 4 am. At 5:05 I decided to not wait for the alarm and got up. I undid my hair then realized that I was working way closer to home today and didn't need to be up yet. So I set the alarm for 25 mins later and laid back down. Less than 10 mins later, I was wide awake and back up. Unfortunately that did not last. I was so sleepy today! I actually felt my head rolling while I was walking around! Who falls asleep standing up??   o_O

Not that I've had a nap or anything now... I had stuff to do! I hope you don't feel cheated by this post. I mean, I did tell you all about my day, didn't I? :D

This card started as a breast cancer challenge card on Scraps of Color, but I changed it a little for this week's Sketch Challenge on The Outlawz!
I felt like someone might give me some flak for a semi-sexy angel with a scripture, but then I thought how I'm still young and don't want all of my angels to be stuffy. As there are women younger than I am with breast cancer, I know at least one of them would like an angel that reminds her of herself...

Here's the sketch if you want to play...

Another simple sketch! No excuses... See you in the challenge!

*I'm giving something away again this week. You might want it. Go back one post...

Time for Another One!

Well, well, well... Highland Monkeys sent me the most adorable mini sock monkey last year, and now I get to repay her by sending her the SEI set I offered up last weekend! Yay Penny! I'm sure I have your address in a notebook BUT finding it will probably be a problem. Please resend your address so I can get them out to you! (If you aren't her, you should check out her awesome blog. She quilts, paints, and makes super cute dolls!)

This week I have a set that's a little too late (or is it super early?) for my Canadian friends... Inkadinkado's Harvest Expressions set!

I keep looking at this set thinking that I should have bought one for myself. That middle sentiment looks great, and I know I could have used the text with or without the tree. Oh well! This one's for one of you! If you'd like to win it, be a follower and leave me a comment here! Next Sunday, I'll be back with a winner and something else!

Gigantic LMMS Release!!

The Blogger app on my phone and I don't get along, but my computer is doing some nonsense and won't load Google or Blogger. I need you not to miss today's huge release at Little Miss Muffet Stamps! Bandit Boy Tom, a Keep Calm sentiment, and 10 of your favorite Pollycraft images IN RUBBER!!

Hopefully, I'll be back in business soon. Til then, make sure you check out the new release and get that News Badge on your blog! Nothing better than free stuff...  :D

Back to Your Regularly Scheduled Program...

That's right - no scary stuff here today! For my inspiration piece to go with this week's Sketch Challenge at The Outlawz, I was SUPER excited to find a card that I'd already made that matched the sketch. Yeah, I know that's kinda like cheating, but I'm not putting it in any challenges. I try to follow the rules...  :D

Here's the sketch:

And here's my card using some bunting and an owl clip art from Clementine Digitals:

This was one of my Ready Set Create e-magazine cards from last year. I don't think I already shared it here...

Anyway, you have a week to come show us what you can do with the sketch. Noor Design is our sponsor this month !

Another Giveaway!

Well, I'm about a month behind here! I said I would probably give something away for checking out my feature at Paperie Designs' Studio and never picked a winner... :S   So PENNY, I'll be sending you a stamp set from Heartfelt Creations!! (here's what it looks like)

Up next is a Moravia stamp set from SEI.

If you'd like it, just leave me a comment here before next Sunday. Thanks for all of your support!

123...Can You Scare Me?

Be prepared. The card below isn't my normal cute card.  The new challenge at Guylou's Inimitability is a recipe challenge called "123...Can You Scare Me?". As such, I had to attempt to make something scary following the 1 ribbon, 2 embellishments, and 3 patterned papers recipe.  Here's what I came up with using the Lotus is a Bride digi...

Yeah, I had fun with this one... :D
G is such a sweetie pie; she tried to draw up some images for this challenge, and everything she came up with is CUTE! (Franken-Miguel, Felicia Witch, and my Sneaker Witch) After seeing how my LMMS leader Barbara changed up those Magnolia stamps, I figured I could turn one of Guylou's adorable stamps into something spooky! Plus, I got the stash down a little bit more!! :D

If you'd like to play in the recipe challenge, you have until 10 pm EST on Nov 1 to get your spooky, dark, or gothic project linked up. I can't wait to see what y'all come up with!

LMMS Helps With the Stash!

Used some more of the K& Company pack and some of their puffy stickers. I even threw another rub-on on the inside for the sentiment! :D

The new challenge at Little Miss Muffet is Halloween Colors! How perfect for me as I'm working to shrink my Halloween crafting stash!  I am a fan of the traditional Halloween colors. If you want to play along but don't like Halloween, just use the colors! They look great together!

Knocking Down that Stash!

Every Halloween card gets me closer to not feeling bad when I go hit up the Halloween clearance soon! This card is for this week's Sketch Challenge at The Outlawz and uses a digi from A Day for Daisies that I colored LAST October, two Heidi Grace rub-ons (the spider and sentiment), some old K&Company paper, a little Recollections bat brad, and a chipboard sticker. All of these things have been in my stash for one or two Halloweens!

Here's the easy sketch for the week if you want to play along:

Thank you Sandi for a simple sketch! I've been too worn out to think hard on some of the recent ones...  I hope to see you over at the Sketch Challenge; we have a prize from Noor Design plus the great site-wide prizes from Oozak, Jackson's Digital Expressions, Paper Temptress, and MORE!!

**Challenges: Craft Your Passion - Witches,  Eureka Stamps - Halloween, Forever Friends - Halloween/Autumn, Lexi's Creations - Halloween

Sharing...

Before I go dive under the covers, I want to share with you some fabulous cards I received recently. I often forget to put the cards here on my blog, so I figured while I remembered, I would make it happen!

First up is a delightful Halloween card I got from Cole. Cole is an awesome woman and card maker; she has always been super nice to me, and I've never seen her make a bad card!

I love the faces on these two! Looks like major havoc is about to ensue!

Next, is a seriously sweet card from Alice Brown aka Scrappin Sista. I can always count on Alice for an encouraging word and some card love!

If you have some time, go check these ladies out. You won't be disappointed! Have a great week!

Halloween at Little Miss Muffet!

I'm at work and a bit late with this post. So... Have you seen today's new release at Little Miss Muffet?! Barbara & Paula from Pollycraft have some super Trick or Treaters! Plus, there's an amazing new banner die at LMMS!

I was dying last night trying to convince myself to get up and make something. I guess that's why you're supposed to do these ahead of time, huh? Unfortunately, I can't seem to shake this ridiculous tired that comes on after work. I take my vitamins, but I haven't been sleeping well lately. Last night, I must have woken up 20 times between midnight and 4am; I finally woke up 3 minutes before the alarm was set to go off! I hate that! Anyway, before finally giving in to sleep, I caught my second wind and would up using the adorable Celeste Amberglow Fairy Special digi to make a tag. (Me? Tag?? I know, right!) Had I not been rushing so that I could get into the bed, I probably would have thrown some more stuff at this tag. I do like how it turned out, though.

Well, the clock says I'm off, so I'm going to wrap this up. You should make sure you get over to LMMS to check out the awesome creations my teammates made. PLUS, if you haven't already, you should put the LMMS News Badge on your blog. Mary F. wound up getting three of the new digis just for having the badge! Also, Bandit Boy Tom and some Pollycraft images are being retired from digi form. You may want to rush over to ensure you have them!

You know I believe that all posts need a pic. Here's one with an image from TLC Creations that I made last year for Ready Set Create. I might have posted it before, but I don't think so...

Well, I won't keep you waiting...The hop winner is Sheila H., and the winner of my prize for the SOC 8th Anniversary Blog Hop is Karen! Thanks so much to Cheryl for organizing the hop, Tiare for starting and running such an awesome group, and to you for stopping by and always being so sweet to me!

Barely Made It!

Well, it's still World Card Making Day somewhere! I made a card for the new challenge at Guylou's Inimitability; Chana challenged us to use our favorite fancy die. I used the adorable Felicia Witch with Pumpkin (comes with 2 images and a bonus for just $2!!) and the Mini Film Strip die from Die-namics. I told you I was going to start using my Halloween stash - those little pics in the film strip came from a sheet of paper that came in one of those Target Dollar Bin paper packs. Agh! I was about to type that I need to see if they have any new ones this year. Um... Trina, you don't NEED more Halloween paper! I'm so bad...  ;D

Hope to see you in the challenge! You could win some free digis and a guest design team spot!

SOC 8th Anniversary Blog Hop

Welcome to Scraps of Color's 8th Anniversary Blog Hop! I'm glad you stopped by for the celebration! If you're dropping by from Princess's blog, then you're in the right place! However, if you started here, you can visit the SOC E:spire blog to join this party from the beginning!

To commemorate Scraps of Color's 8th birthday, I have teamed up with some super talented ladies to share projects based on the celebrations in our lives. We wanted to have this special blog hop to celebrate this great crafting community where we laugh, play, and create together and encourage and inspire one another.

Blog Hop Candy: The Good Life paper pack by Fancy Pants Designs (includes 12 double sided papers, sticker and die cut sheets. Matching layered stickers, a small black shadowbox tray, and American Crafts 24 pack of bakers twine--12 different colors (120 yards total).

Of course, a blog hop isn't complete without blog candy! There will be giveaways on various blogs throughout the hop! Plus there will be a SOC blog hop gift awaiting one visitor!! To be eligible for the prize above, you must comment on all the blogs by Monday, Oct. 8 at 11pm EST. From all who are eligible, one lucky reader will be randomly drawn. The winner will be posted on all the participating blogs on Wednesday, Oct. 10.

As soon as I glued down that text paper, I realized that y scrap sheet wasn't cut straight so the whole card looks crooked!

I was supposed to be sharing a mini album (!!) today, but since I've been so tired after work, it still needs a whole lot of work. Instead I have a graduation card that my cousin asked me to make for her husband's aunt who is getting her master's degree on Sunday. Go auntie!! (I literally just finished...) The image is from Jackson's Digital Expressions.

My cousin also asked me to make a retirement card for one of her coworkers. I should be finishing that up soon and will update my post.**UPDATE** Since my cousin really likes this card with MelJen's Army Bear I went with the same feel for her requested card.

I only ever see troops in the desert uniform, but my parents were both in the military and this is what theirs looked like. Plus, I don't have any sand camo paper!
Honestly, I've never been so happy to be able to look at something I already colored while I was coloring. I was able to figure out the colors and not have to do much thinking... I used some Lawn Fawn alphabet stamps on the inside, but you know I didn't take a picture of that before running to the post office! ;D

Since I'm super sweet, I'm offering some candy to help you with a couple of celebrations in your own life! I have two stamp sets, Lawn Fawn's Plus One and Stampendous!'s Birthday Brackets, for one of my followers who leaves me a comment before the hop is over...

Dunce Cap, Please!

I have been coming home from work super exhausted the last two weeks. Before then, I'd been working something like three days a week. Going in every day was an adjustment I should have built up to! Anyhow, I guess I should start taking a nap when I get home because once eight comes around, I'm struggling to watch all the good shows this season. (I really don't normally watch much tv, but this seems to be a good season of television...) Plus, it's hard to make cards when you're asleep! That Halloween card took me days to finish coloring since I would have to stop once I felt myself drifting off.

Unfortunately, this week I found another bad thing about being half-awake when it's time to put together a card. I stayed up WAY past my work bedtime to finish my Little Miss Muffet Challenge card last night only to get a very polite message from Faye to let me know that the Pollycraft image that I grabbed from the pre-printed images pile is not available at LMMS! UGH! Pass me the dunce cap! :S

So YOU know, the challenge at Little Miss Muffet is Simplicity. The challenge runs for two weeks, and if you use a LMMS image then theme is Anything Goes.

Whatchamacallit

I just want to say that I love Whatchamacallit candy bars. Once upon a time, I used to pick them up when I'd be out shopping with my parents then years went by when I didn't see a single one! I got one today, and I'm trying to figure out if I want to wolf it now or savor it later...

Anyway, I managed to be good this week and got my card done for the Sketch Challenge at The Outlawz. I used Broomhilda from the now-closed (*sniff, sniff*) Anita Be Stampin, an ancient rub on, and some Jolee's sticker embellishments from clearance last year. I find it weird that I totally love Halloween papers and embellishments but then only make like two Halloween cards a year. I have a huge stash of OLD stuff that I'm going to try to throw on some cards this year...

Here's the sketch if you're interested in playing along. This month, the Sketch Challenge has an awesome sponsor, Noor! Design, and a gang of site-wide sponsors!

Ack! Monsters!!

Today's new release at Little Miss Muffet Stamps is a gang of weird, hairy, slimy, fangtastic, CUTE monsters! As you know if you've been here a while, I love the monsters at LMMS. Well, Barbara is giving all of us the chance to make our own monsters! This new release is Build a Monster and is chock full of monster bits for you to put together how you want! It's like a monster Mr. Potato Head...

Here's my card using some DCWV paper that seemed perfect for my custom monster:

I hope you have the News Badge on your blog so you can be eligible for a prize from the next new release!  :D

SOG for the Outlawz!

This week's sketch challenge at The Outlawz had me confused (again, right?).  I pulled myself together late last night and got on it, though! I can't tell you how many different ideas I had for this card before finally deciding on one and putting a card together. I was so sleepy while I was making the card, plus it was my week to do the challenge so I had even more to do once I finished it.

Weird colors b/c I misplaced my camera...again.
I used Baby Snuggle Kaylee from Some Odd Girl and some stamps from Lawn Fawn's Plus One set to make a card for this sketch...

Hope to see you in the challenge! We have a great sponsor for the challenge AND for the site this month!

Say Word??

That's what I said to myself when my crafting buddy and fellow Georgia Peach asked me if I'd like to be featured in an upcoming Fascinating Friday post at Paperie Designs' Studio. Uh...YEAH! Thank you so much to Rochelle for reaching out to me and making me feel special!

You know I have to add a pic of something! I sure wish my eyebrows were this neat today...  :S

Hmm... maybe I should give one of my stockpiled goodies away for leaving a comment there and one here to tell me you did so... Not that you'll learn much b/c as I've told you all before, I can't tell all my business on the internet! :D

How's Your Weather?

Rainy Day Bear from Guylou's Inimitability. Outfit paper pieced w/my fav Cosmo Cricket's DeLovely then coated with Glossy Accents. Sentiment by Inkadinkado. Cloud brads from Recollections.

Hey, I'm hosting the new challenge at Guylou's Inimitability and want to see your weather-related projects! The challenge runs until 10 pm EST on October 4. One random winner will win a $10 gift certificate from Guylou's Online Store and will have the option of being a guest designer on an upcoming challenge!

I feel like I should say more since this is MY challenge, but I'm pooped! I have to get up early to go work with a gang of 4 year olds, so...

I can't wait to see what you make for the challenge!

A Little Somethin', Somethin'

SO... My birthday and blogaversary both managed to pass without me giving anything away! I have been collecting things to give and think I'll just randomly post a thing or two every so often til the end of the year...

To get this giveaway party started, I'm giving one of you lovely folks a set of Lawn Fawn's Say Cheese Too stamps! These are perfect for you Project Lifers!

I don't feel like going through the process of setting up a linky thing, so make sure you're a follower and leave me a comment on this post if you'd like a chance to get these in your mailbox! I'll randomly pick a winner on Sunday...

New Releases at Little Miss Muffet!

This week at Little Miss Muffet Stamps we have seven new digis from Simply Sophia! This set is called Hills of Mooradale and is perfect for you fantasy lovers. There are unicorns, dragons, and a pegasus!
Any photo gurus out there? Things that are this purple will not photo red enough with my camera. I can't get the right colors even when I change the camera's settings or edit the photo afterward...

I chose to make a mini mixed media canvas using Firefoot. I swear as simple as that canvas looks, you might not even believe that there are a ton of products on there...  Don't forget to check out what my teammates made this week and get a peek at the other stamps in the set!

**Challenges: Oozak - Sparkle, Paperminutes - No Design Paper, Papertake Weekly - Things that Make You Go Aww, Stamp and Create - Anything Goes, There's Magic in the Air - Anything Goes, Art With No Boundaries - Anything Goes

Lazy Card

I'm still a little sinus-y and really didn't feel like working hard to make a card for this week's sketch challenge at The Outlawz. So... I used a sheet of digital paper from Peppermint Creative and a free font from kevinandamanda.com to make a quick little love note. I did spruce it up a little with some rhinestones and Stickles...

Here's the sketch if you'd like to play along this week:

We have Oozak, Color Me Creative Classroom, Jackson's Digital Expressions, Paper Temptress, Gilli Stamps, and Jellypark Stamps all sponsoring The Outlawz this month! Come on and join the fun!

**Sidebar - Have you ever used Organo Gold? If you've been here a while, I think you know that I have serious weather-related sinus issues quite often BUT I hate taking medicine for it. Well, the other night I was coughing like crazy because of sinus drainage. I had already had tea and REAL chicken broth with lemon but figured another cup of something warm couldn't hurt. I ended up with a packet of Organo Gold hot chocolate. (I do NOT sell this stuff; my mom bought some to help out a friend of hers...) While it isn't very chocolate-y, it did completely kill the coughing until about eight the next morning. If any of you sell this stuff and want to gift me some, let me know!  :D
